Optris® CTlaser Pyrometer
The Optris® CTlaser has a double laser sighting system for accurate spot placement. The units consist of a rugged head and separate electronics box with programming keys and LED display. Selectable analog outputs 4-20mA, 0-5/10V or thermocouple type K or J. Digital interfaces include RS485, CAN or Profibus DP. Optional USB kit for use with free Optris® Compact Connect PC software

Optris® CTlaser LT Base model 8-14 micron spectrum, measurement range -50 to 975°C.
Example Applications: non metallics such as wood, paper, plastics welding, varnishes.
Optris® CTlaser 05M For temperature measurement of liquid metals between 1000 and 2000°C, short spectral range of 0.525 micron decreases measurement errors due to emissivity changes or incorrect settings.
Example Application: Steel and other metal refining / processing plant. Monitoring liquid metal temperature.
Optris® CTlaser 1M/2M For metals, secondary metals processing and ceramic materials at 250 to 2200°C
Example Applications: metal processing industry e.g. welding, soldering, re-forming, induction brazening, or sintering, rolling trains, tube-welding processes and forging-die forming, metal oxides.
Optris® CTlaser 3M For metals, secondary metals processing and ceramic materials at lower temperatures 50 to 1800°C The spectral range of 2.3 micron allows for precise measurement of composite material surfaces made of e.g. carbides, polymeric plastics, or ceramics.
Example Applications: metal processing industry e.g. welding, soldering, re-forming, induction brazening, or sintering, rolling trains, tube-welding processes and forging-die forming, metal oxides.
Optris® CTlaser MT For precise temperature measurement through flames of 200 °C to 1,650 °C.
Example Applications: surveillance of work pieces in ovens, for measurements in chemical reactors and for testing of refractory linings in kilns.
Optris® CTlaser F2/F6 For measurement of CO2 (F2) or CO (F6) flames between 200 and 1650°C.
Example Applications: combustion processes, energy from waste incineration, or in processes in chemical reactors.
Optris® CTlaser G5 For precise temperature measurement of glass between 100 and 1650°C
Example Applications: Flat glass lines, container glass machines, bulb manufacturing, car glass finishing, solar panels
Optris® CTlaser G7 For precise temperature measurement of ultra-thin flat glass between 100 and 1200°C. Capable of measuring objects of 1.6 mm (0.06 in) at a distance of 70 mm (2.76 in)
Example Applications: Production of ultra-thin glass used for touch displays of smartphones, tablets etc.

Example Application: polyurethane (PU), polyether sulfone (PES), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), teflon (PTFE) or cellulose triacetate (CTA).
