Spring Loaded Exhaust Gas Thermocouple
A common problem found in 7F and 9F class turbines is the premature failure of the exhaust gas sensor tip which becomes damaged by vibration caused by gas flows, input vibration and thermal expansion variance.
Designed to eliminate premature failures, the ‘enhanced spring-loaded exhaust gas thermocouple’ includes a high temperature compression spring is held captive between two spacer tubes which dampens the vibration and keeps the sensor tip seated within the radiation shield.
These sensors are interchangeable with OEM parts and tested to OEM specifications and when used in the 7F and 9F class turbine, this sensor solution has proven to increase sensor longevity considerably, saving on significant downtime and manpower.
